Light surface rust / orange staining. The metal is intact — only the surface has oxidized. Easy to treat.
Visible pitting and flaking. Rust is eating into the metal. Leaks beginning at screw holes and laps.
Rust has perforated through the sheet. Multiple active leaks visible. Structural integrity partially compromised.
Large sections have failed. Metal is thin and fragile. Replacement of sections may be required before waterproofing.

Marine-grade rust-inhibiting epoxy primer applied to all treated surfaces — the critical bonding and protection layer between bare metal and membrane.
Full liquid EPDM waterproofing membrane applied, followed by UV-stable reflective topcoat. Warranty certificate issued on completion.
