These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dubai Roof Seal regarding our services and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, and agreements.

2. About Our Services

• Institutional buildings (schools, hospitals, etc.)

Services are provided across Dubai and the wider UAE region.

3. Quotation and Agreement

3.1 Quotation Process

• Quotations are provided based on site inspection and scope assessment
• Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue
• Quotations are non-binding until you formally accept in writing (email or WhatsApp)
• Additional charges may apply for unforeseen circumstances or scope changes

3.2 Formal Agreement

Once you accept a quotation, a formal service agreement will be issued. This agreement will detail:

• Scope of work and specifications
• Project timeline and milestones
• Payment terms and schedule
• Warranty coverage and duration
• Terms and conditions specific to your project

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Pricing

• All prices quoted are in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise specified
• Prices exclude VAT where applicable
• Pricing is based on the scope provided; additional work will be quoted separately
• Price revisions may be necessary due to material cost fluctuations (notice provided in advance)

4.2 Payment Terms

• Payment schedule will be outlined in your service agreement
• Typical terms: 50% deposit upon agreement, 50% upon completion
• Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, cash, and credit/debit cards
• Late payment may result in suspension of services
• Invoices must be paid within 30 days of issuance unless otherwise agreed

4.3 Refunds and Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made in writing
• Cancellations before work commencement: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
• Cancellations after work commencement: Customer liable for all completed work and materials
• No refunds for completed services except in cases of non-performance

5. Scope of Work and Services

5.1 What We Do

We provide professional roof waterproofing, repair, and maintenance services as specified in your service agreement. Our scope includes:

• Site inspection and assessment
• Surface preparation and cleaning
• Application of waterproofing materials
• Metal roof repair and restoration
• Leak detection and remediation
• Quality assurance and testing

5.2 What We Do NOT Cover

• Structural repairs beyond roof surface treatment
• Damage caused by events beyond our control (earthquakes, extreme weather)
• Work outside the agreed scope
• Services not explicitly listed in the service agreement
• Repairs to roof fixtures, HVAC systems, or other installations

6. Warranty and Guarantees

6.1 Workmanship Warranty

• All work is guaranteed against defects in workmanship for 2 years from completion
• Warranty covers leaks directly caused by our application and poor installation
• Warranty excludes damage from improper maintenance, neglect, or external damage

6.2 Material Warranty

• Waterproofing materials are warranted per manufacturer specifications (typically 5-10 years)
• Material warranties are conditional on proper application and maintenance
• Manufacturer warranties apply separately and directly from the material supplier

6.3 Warranty Limitations

Warranty does not cover:

• Damage from lack of maintenance or improper care
• Damage from structural movement or settling
• Extreme weather or acts of God
• Unauthorized repairs or alterations by third parties
• Damage from other contractors or trades working on the roof

7. Timeline and Schedules

• Project timelines will be provided in the service agreement
• Timelines are estimates; weather and site conditions may cause delays
• We will notify you of any anticipated delays as soon as possible
• Work may be subject to weather conditions (extreme heat, rain, wind)
• The customer is responsible for coordinating site access and safety

8. Safety and Insurance

8.1 Our Responsibility

• Dubai Roof Seal maintains comprehensive liability insurance
• All staff are trained in safety protocols and procedures
• We comply with UAE occupational health and safety regulations
• We use proper safety equipment and fall protection systems

8.2 Your Responsibility

• You are responsible for site access and coordination with other trades
• You must inform us of any hazards, restricted areas, or safety concerns
• You are responsible for building insurance during project execution
• You must restrict unauthorized access to the work area

9. Inspections and Quality Assurance

• All work is subject to our quality assurance checks
• You have the right to inspect work during and upon completion
• Final inspection and sign-off required before payment completion
• Minor defects must be reported within 7 days of project completion
• Any major defects will be rectified at no additional cost within the warranty period

10. Limitation of Liability

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of business, profits, or revenue
• Property damage beyond the roof surface
• Personal injury (except as required by law)
• Damages caused by factors outside our control

11. Intellectual Property

All designs, methodologies, and proprietary techniques used by Dubai Roof Seal remain our intellectual property. You have a non-exclusive license to use the completed work for your building only.

12. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding:

• Project details and specifications
• Pricing and financial information
• Technical information and methodologies

Exceptions include: disclosure required by law, regulatory authorities, or for insurance purposes.

These Terms & Conditions, together with your service agreement and privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dubai Roof Seal. Previous communications or negotiations are superseded by these terms.
